The control unit combines small dimensions with large capacity, and is very easy to fit and commission. MicroStart is intended for rotors with a diameter of up to 1 500 mm. Standard delivery includes an enclosed control unit, but can be supplied in a customised format.

Function description
MicroStart, IP54 enclosure, is a control unit for 1-phase motors. The motor condenser can be fitted to the control unit. MicroStart has a built-in soft start/soft stop function to spare the motor and gearbox. They also have the extra functions needed to in an simple manner control a rotating heat exchanger.
Incoming signal 0-10 V
MicroStart has a pause/run-time function that is controlled by the incoming signal, with a total cycle time of 60 seconds. Depending on the incoming signal level the relation between pause and run-time is changed. If the incoming signal is less than the set threshold value of 0.5 V the rotor is stopped. MicroStart has built-in incoming signal shift, which means that the rotor’s degree of efficiency is proportional to the incoming signal.
Cleaning function
MicroStart has a built-in cleaning function. When the rotor has stopped for 45 minutes, the cleaning function is activated and the rotor then rotates for 10 seconds.
Rotation monitor
MicroStart has a built-in rotation monitor. A magnetic sensor with a built-in hall element and associated magnet is connected to the control unit. The control unit trips unless a pulse is received every 5 minutes.
Alarm
The control unit trips in the event of a tripped thermal switch in the motor.
Test
There is a DIP switch for manual run.
